Me: 'Men who hate women' is a fucking amazing title for a book, whereas 'the girl with the dragon tattoo' sounds like something you'd buy at ASDA

Me: 'Men who hate women' could also be the title of an anthology about great thinkers, writers and artists
Chris: Or the title of a surprisingly honest porn movie

Me: I dreamt that we got really hammered and watched the scene in the 'lord of the flies' film where the fat kid gets smashed by a rock on endless repeat
My brother: that wasn't a dream, that actually happened
Me: that actually happened??!
My brother: Yes, we watched it in ultra slow-motion, frame by frame, over and over again

Just had the idea of making a comic about a philosopher turned superhero who hates and battles postmodernists, under the pseudonym ‘THE TRUTH’. The cover of the first edition shows him punching Jean Baudrillard next to the caption ‘THE TRUTH HURTS’. Is someone good at drawing and can help me with that?

Just found this review which I wrote last year on hostelworld for the worst hostel in florence: These words in sombre colour I beheld written upon the summit of a gate: “Through me you go to the grief wracked hostel; Through me to everlasting pain you go; Through me you go and pass among lost souls, sharing a bed for lovers in midst a myriad of other beds. Here are shrieks, and...

The Culmination of Separation
1 In societies dominated by modern conditions of production, life is presented as an immense accumulation of spectacles. Everything that was directly lived has receded into a representation. 2 The images detached from every aspect of life merge into a common stream in which the unity of that life can no longer be recovered. Fragmented views of reality regroup themselves into a new unity as...
