Speaking of Hegel, allow me to repost a picture I made ages ago
This weekend is my university’s outrageously expensive summer ball, and two days later my copy of Zizek’s outrageously expensive 1200 pages book on Hegel should arrive. Could it be….could it be that I will finally experience this phenomenon called ‘happiness’ that I heard so much about?
Just wrote 14 pages about Hegel and Nietzsche before breakfast, and am now done with all my work as an undergraduate. How was your morning?

Dear followers,
I assume that many of you are well-versed in Continental Philosophy, so I hope you can help me with this. I am looking for good reading material on the question ‘where should Philosophy begin?’, ideally with a critical comparison of the methodologies of Hegel and Kierkegaard, and/or Heidegger, and/or Nietzsche. Thanks!
Edit: Thanks to everybody who sent me suggestions already! Does anybody know any decent secondary texts, since I am familiar with most of the original texts by Nietzsche, Kierkegaard etc.
“This abstract negativity of Scepticism brings it into contradiction with itself. It supposes itself to occupy a secure position from which it can look down on the flux and confusion of all fallacious beliefs and experiences. But since it is pure negativity and refuses to acknowledge the positivity of negation, it cannot provide itself with any positive content. It must apply its scepticism to itself, and assume that its own ideas are as fallacious and confused as any others. And yet in practice, of course, it can never do this…”

These Hegel/Star Wars pictures are probably more fun to make than to look at, but I can’t sleep.
Note: This will not be the last time I will photoshop Hegel as some kind of badass Final Boss of Continental Philosophy
